Directions
MIX
Mix the batter following the directions provided on the bag of Westco Magic Angel Mix for a small batch. Deposit 18 oz. batter in an ungreased 9″ angel food tube style pan. The pan must be free of all fat or the cake will not rise.
BAKE
Bake at 330-365° for 22 minutes. Invert the pans immediately after removing from the oven to prevent shrinking and to preserve shelf life. Cakes must cool completely before removal from pans.
FINISH
Cut one of the cakes into pieces small enough to fit into the other cakes holes. Fill the holes with cake pieces about ¾” high to create a support to hold the strawberries on the top of the cake. Ice the entire cake with BakeSense Whipped Topping. Enrobe fresh strawberries with Westco Strawberry Pie Glaze and place them in the center of the cake.
Using a pastry bag with a large tip, pipe a border of BakeSense Whipped Topping around the top edge of the cake.
