Directions
MIX
Mix some Westco Ultra Rich Crème Cake Mix according to the directions provided on the bag for a small batch.
MAKE UP
Grease a pan extender and place into a paper lined baking pan.
Scale 9 LB of mixed batter and spread evenly into pan.
BAKE
Bake at 330-365°F for 40-45 minutes depending on your oven type or until internal temperature reaches 205°F.
Let the cake cool. Remove pan extender. Place in freezer overnight.
FINISH
Remove cake from freezer and let it thaw completely (until the center is no longer frozen).
Using red or pink liquid gel food colors tint Westco Vanilla Dipping Icing to desired pink hue. Cover top of cake with an even layer of colored Westco Vanilla Dipping Icing heated to 105-110°F.
Garnish with Trigal Dorado Rainbow Non Pareils before icing sets.
Trim the edges of the cake so it looks neat and cut into 4” x 4” or 4” x 2” pieces.
