Instructions
SCALE & MIX
- Batter: Mix batter following the directions provided on the bag of Westco Extra Rich White Cake Mix for a small batch.
- Topping Mix: Combine 1 part Sprinkelina White Twinkle Pearls, 1 part Sprinkelina Red Twinkle Pearls, and 3 parts Sprinkelina Rainbow Non Pareils.
MAKE UP
- Cupcakes: Deposit 2 ounces of batter into paper lined cupcake pans.
- Fondant Stars: Color some BakeSense Vanilla White Rolled Fondant yellow with liquid gel. Roll yellow fondant between 1/16″ and 1/8″ thick. Cut small stars with a fondant cutter. Le the stars dry.
BAKE
Bake at 325-360°F for 15-20 minutes. Let’s the cupcakes cool down completely.
FINISH
Tint some Westco Vanilla Buttercrème Icing Christmas green with liquid gels. After the cupcakes have cooled, use a piping bag with a large star tip to pipe a tree on the top of each cupcake. Sprinkle topping mix on top. Finish by placing a fondant star on the top of each icing tree.
