Christmas Tree Cupcakes

Bring your own version of the Christmas Tree lot into your bakery this holiday season with these Christmas Tree Cupcakes. The creativity is endless when it comes to holiday baking. Instructions

SCALE & MIX
  • Batter: Mix batter following the directions provided on the bag of Westco Extra Rich White Cake Mix for a small batch.
  • Topping Mix: Combine 1 part Sprinkelina White Twinkle Pearls, 1 part Sprinkelina Red Twinkle Pearls, and 3 parts Sprinkelina Rainbow Non Pareils.
MAKE UP
  • Cupcakes: Deposit 2 ounces of batter into paper lined cupcake pans.
  • Fondant Stars: Color some BakeSense Vanilla White Rolled Fondant yellow with liquid gel. Roll yellow fondant between 1/16″ and 1/8″ thick. Cut small stars with a fondant cutter. Le the stars dry.
BAKE

Bake at 325-360°F for 15-20 minutes. Let’s the cupcakes cool down completely.

FINISH

Tint some Westco Vanilla Buttercrème Icing Christmas green with liquid gels. After the cupcakes have cooled, use a piping bag with a large star tip to pipe a tree on the top of each cupcake. Sprinkle topping mix on top. Finish by placing a fondant star on the top of each icing tree.
